Basketball Recap: Tate Piles Up the Points Against Elberta

Tate had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 29-point drubbing they dealt Elberta on Monday. The Tate Aggies took their game with ease, bagging a 44-15 win over the Elberta Warriors. The Aggies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Tate found their leader in freshman Brelynn Morris, who posted 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Morris has scored all season. Sam Williams was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Tate is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Elberta, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Tate will head out to take on Northview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elberta, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against UMS-Wright Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. UMS-Wright Prep will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Elberta surely won't give up without a fight.
