Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Ware County's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Ware County won the last time they faced New Hampstead and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Ware County Gators came out on top against the New Hampstead Phoenix by a score of 86-75. The Gators pushed the score to 69-45 by the end of the third, a deficit the Phoenix cut but never quite recovered from.

Ware County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for New Hampstead, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ware County will head out to take on Perry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ware County is facing Perry at the right time seeing as Perry is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for New Hampstead, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. Andrew's at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Andrew's will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something New Hampstead surely won't give up without a fight.
