BASIS - Mesa is a perfect 4-0 against Skyline - Gila River since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m.

BASIS - Mesa is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering BASIS - Prescott just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyote.

Skyline - Gila River not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Arizona Cultural Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for Skyline - Gila River as it spelled an end to their six-match losing streak.

Skyline - Gila River was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-10.

BASIS - Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Skyline - Gila River, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-7.

Everything went BASIS - Mesa's way against Skyline - Gila River when the teams last played on Tuesday, as BASIS - Mesa made off with a 3-0 win. Will BASIS - Mesa repeat their success, or does Skyline - Gila River has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
