Softball Recap: Johnson Jaguars vs. East Central Hornets
Johnson and East Central squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Johnson had to settle for second. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Jaguars, who until this contest were averaging 4.08 runs allowed.
Kaitlyn De La Fuente was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Tijerina, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
