East Lee County hasn't had much luck against Immokalee recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The East Lee County Jaguars will welcome the Immokalee Indians at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Thursday, East Lee County lost to Gateway at home by a 81-66 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (59), the Jaguars still had to take the loss.

Despite their loss, East Lee County saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Joel Trujillo, who went 6 for 14 en route to 16 points and seven boards, was perhaps the best of all. Trujillo is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Tobias Jean-Louis was another key player, putting up 16 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, East Lee County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 11 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Immokalee over Pahokee in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Immokalee put the hurt on Pahokee with a sharp 58-35 win. That looming 58-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.
Immokalee found their leader in sophomore Timarian Howard, who went 7 of 9 on his way to 17 points and four steals. That's the most steals Howard has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jose Marquez, who went 5 for 11 en route to 14 points.
East Lee County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Immokalee, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. East Lee County hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 58.7 points per game. However, it's not like Immokalee struggles in that department as they've been averaging 55.9 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
