Soccer Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

If Windsor was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of St. Clair last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Owls fell just short of the Northwest Lions by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Windsor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Northwest are ranked 33rd).

Windsor has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Northwest, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Windsor will host Lutheran South at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Northwest, they will venture away from home to take on Parkway Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
