Volleyball Recap: Central Cabarrus Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Central Cabarrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Central Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Central Cabarrus and Northwest Cabarrus will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Vikings will take on rival Hickory Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northwest Cabarrus is set to square off against their familiar foe South Rowan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
