Volleyball Recap: Convent of the Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

Convent of the Sacred Heart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Marin Academy Wildcats. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 25, 2024, but that streak is no more.

While Convent of the Sacred Heart had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-22.

Convent of the Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Marin Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Convent of the Sacred Heart will square off against rival Urban at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Marin Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Lick-Wilmerding at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
