While Westminster's  win against Gateway wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolves sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  10-9  victory over the Olympians  on Monday. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Olympians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  win against them.
  Michael Davidson was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Diego Yanos, who  went 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
Westminster's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Gateway,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at four games  and leaves them with a 7-5 record.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster will challenge Mountain Range at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Wolves are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on  a  12-game losing streak. As for Gateway, they will head out on the road to  take on  Adams City  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.55  runs per game on average), something the Olympians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
