Cherokee extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Rylee Sivert. The Chiefs walked away with a 47-36 win over the West Greene Buffaloes on Friday for which the team can thank Sivert, who shot 48% from the field en route to 24 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Her afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points.

Addie Lawson was another key player, putting up six points along with seven boards and seven steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Cherokee's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for West Greene, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Coming up, Cherokee will head out on the road to square off against Volunteer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Greene, they will welcome Unicoi County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
