Logan's loss ends three-game winning streak at home

Recap: Logan Chieftains vs. Fairfield Union Falcons
The Logan Chieftains lost against the Fairfield Union Falcons back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Logan took a 50-34 bruising from Fairfield Union. Logan has struggled against Fairfield Union recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Chieftains players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dani Mahaffey, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Makenzie Daubenmire was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
Logan's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-14. As for Fairfield Union, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.
Logan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Olentangy Berlin at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Fairfield Union, they will be playing at home against Wellston at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
