Soccer Game Preview: Casa Roble vs. Woodland

Casa Roble is 0-9-1 against Woodland since January of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Casa Roble Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Woodland Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Casa Roble is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Sutter with a sharp 4-1 win on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Rams with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Woodland put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let Destiny Christian Academy onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Destiny Christian Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Johan Olmedo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Casa Roble and bumps their season record up to 4-8-2. As for Woodland, their victory bumped their record up to 15-0-2.

Casa Roble suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Woodland in their previous meeting back in January. Can Casa Roble avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
