Football Recap: Northside Makes It Four in a Row on the Road + How To Watch

Northside lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Staunton River, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Vikings put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 34-14 win on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Vikings needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Stephen Hall had a dynamite game, rushing for 127 yards and one score on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 72 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Hall was just one part of a punishing run game: Northside was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August.

Northside's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.0 points over those games. As for Staunton River, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
