Volleyball Recap: Westminster School at Oak Mountain Comes Up Short

Westminster School at Oak Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Bree Benich, who had 15 digs and two assists.

Westminster School at Oak Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-17 record this season.

Westminster School at Oak Mountain will be playing at home against Holy Spirit Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Hayden on the 20th.
