Soccer Recap: Babcock Finds Playoff Glory Versus Southwest Florida Christian

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Babcock walked away with it. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Southwest Florida Christian King on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Trailblazers needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

They hit Southwest Florida Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kathryn Hoffman (2), AJ Macia, and Lola Modad.

Babcock's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Southwest Florida Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9-1.

Babcock will face off against Canterbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canterbury is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.5 goals per game this season. Southwest Florida Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
