Grand Island came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Benson, but Goanar Bamach wouldn't allow it. The Bunnies breezed past the Islanders to the tune of 75-45 on Tuesday thanks in part to Bamach, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 11 boards. He has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played.

Grand Island lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carter Bernal, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 15 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Another player making a difference was Trae Pomajzl-Schacher, who went 7-for-11 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds.

Benson's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Grand Island, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Benson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-54 victory against Columbus on the 7th. As for Grand Island, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-48 defeat against Kearney on the 5th.
