Basketball Game Preview: Compass Charter Aviators vs. Wilder Wildcats

Compass Charter hasn't had much luck against Wilder recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Compass Charter Aviators will venture away from home to face off against the Wilder Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Compass Charter comes in on five and Wilder on seven.

Compass Charter will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Riverstone International, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. Compass Charter came out on top against Riverstone International by a score of 42-30 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Wilder strolled past Victory Charter with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 30-16.

Wilder pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points per game. As for Compass Charter, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Compass Charter couldn't quite finish off Wilder in their previous meeting back in December of 2020 and fell 40-38. Can Compass Charter avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
