McPherson entered their tilt with Paola on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bullpups, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

McPherson never let Paola on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23.

McPherson's win bumped their record up to 18-4-2. As for Paola, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-6.

McPherson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Girard on the 4th. As for Paola, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Erie on the 4th.
