Winnetonka won the last time they faced Grandview and things went their way on Monday too. The Griffins walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Griffins.

Winnetonka had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-11, 25-21, 25-14.

Winnetonka was led to victory by Kaylin Cook and Adalynn Ridgley. Cook had 19 digs and three aces, while Ridgley had 12 digs. That's the most aces Cook has posted over her last 12 contests.

They weren't the only good servers: Winnetonka was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They are 8-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Winnetonka's win bumped their record up to 9-10-1. As for Grandview, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
