Softball Game Preview: Choudrant Aggies vs. West Ouachita Chiefs

The Choudrant Aggies are taking a road trip to square off against the West Ouachita Chiefs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Two weeks ago, Choudrant beat Summerfield 7-4. The victory continues a trend for the Aggies in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Ouachita, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past Oak Grove 12-5 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

West Ouachita now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Choudrant, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Choudrant suffered a grim 15-3 defeat to West Ouachita when the teams last played back in February. Can Choudrant avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
