Provo starts season with win against Timpview

The Provo Bulldogs took care of business in their home opener on Friday (barely). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Timpview. That's another feather in the cap for Provo, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Nephi Rodriguez and
Jonathan Lindsey, who scored both of Provo's goals.
Timpview's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Provo will take on Layton Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Timpview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wasatch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
