Soccer Game Preview: Horizon vs. Hanks

The Horizon Scorpions will face off against the Hanks Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Horizon and four for Hanks.

Last Wednesday, Horizon didn't have quite enough to beat Parkland and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Hanks' offense. They lost 7-0 to Bel Air on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 495th, while the Highlanders are ranked 28th).

Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Hanks, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Everything went Horizon's way against Hanks when the teams last played back in January, as Horizon made off with a 5-2 victory. Will Horizon repeat their success, or does Hanks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
