Pioneer's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matthew Maldonado, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 21 points. Maldonado continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Muhamed Shaath was another key player, going 7 for 11 on his way to 16 points and three steals.
Pioneer smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
