Basketball Game Recap: Beloit Memorial vs. Madison East

Last Friday, the Beloit Memorial Purple Knights were out to avenge their 91-47 defeat to the Madison East Purgolders from their previous meeting last December, but they had no such luck. Beloit took a hard 74-58 fall against Madison.

The Purple Knights' loss pushed them down to 2-15. The win bumped Madison's record up to 7-11.

Beloit has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Janesville Parker on Tuesday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close game. The Purgolders will take on Janesville on Thursday at home. If the matchup is anything like Madison's 97-70 victory from their previous meeting December of last year, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
