Basketball Recap: Tomah Comes Up Short

Tomah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 63-46 bruising from the Onalaska Hilltoppers. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Hilltoppers are ranked 37th).

Tomah's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Onalaska, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Tomah has already played their next game, an 83-37 victory against Viroqua on the 10th. As for Onalaska, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-63 defeat against West Salem on the 11th.
