After a string of four wins, Sage Creek's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scripps Ranch Falcons. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Sage Creek was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23.

Sage Creek now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Scripps Ranch, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Sage Creek will head out to challenge San Pasqual at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bobcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Scripps Ranch has already played their next matchup (against Otay Ranch), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
