Baseball Recap: Blanco Takes a Loss

Blanco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-4 to the Harper Longhorns. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to the Longhorns when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Blanco now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Harper, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blanco will venture away from home to take on Llano at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Llano has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.29 runs per game on average), something Blanco will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Harper, they will head out to challenge Christoval at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
