Soccer Game Preview: Cocoa vs. Bayside

Cocoa is 0-9-1 against Bayside since November of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Cocoa Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Bayside Bears at 7:00 p.m.

Cocoa is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Tuesday. They fell just short of Palm Bay by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bayside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Space Coast on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Space Coast with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Skyler Tapia, Wendito Talabert, and Christopher Comerford.

Cocoa's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bayside, the win got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Cocoa might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Bayside when the teams last played back in January. Can Cocoa avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
