Volleyball Recap: Valor Christian's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

With a playoff win on the line, Valor Christian rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Centaurus Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-19.

Jenna Bell paced Valor Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Bell got some help from Piper McFadden and her 34 assists. Tegan Beuhler controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Valor Christian's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Centaurus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.

Coincidentally, Valor Christian and Centaurus will both be playing Castle View the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Sabercats at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
