Soccer Preview: Northwestern vs. Argos
The Northwestern Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Argos Dragons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Northwestern is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals last Thursday, they were much more limited against North White on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0.
Meanwhile, Argos waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lancers a 5-0 shutout. The Dragons' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five games.
