Baseball Recap: Fairfax Takes a Loss

Palisades hit Fairfax with a six-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lions came up short against the Dolphins, falling 12-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fairfax saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yeray Valdez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Fairfax's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Palisades, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Fairfax nor Palisades have any future games scheduled.
