Volleyball Recap: Elkhart Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Elkhart Christian Academy lost against Mishawaka back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Cavemen. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-19.

Ryleigh Viront paced Elkhart Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Viront got some help from Kiara Trovatore and her 18 assists.

Elkhart Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Mishawaka, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Elkhart Christian Academy will face off against Culver Community at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mishawaka, they will challenge Wawasee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
