Baseball Game Preview: Prince of Peace Eagles vs. Lucas Christian Academy Warriors

The Prince of Peace Eagles will face off against the Lucas Christian Academy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Prince of Peace will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Monday, then bounced right back against Lakehill Prep on Tuesday. Prince of Peace blew past Lakehill Prep 11-1. That looming 11-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Luke Briske was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Karl Claussner, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Lucas Christian Academy gave up the first runs last Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victor by an 18-4 margin over Garland Christian Academy.

The team relied heavily on Parker Hall, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Samuel Wheeler, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Lucas Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Garland Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .333.

Prince of Peace now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lucas Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Everything went Prince of Peace's way against Lucas Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Prince of Peace made off with a 13-5 win.
