Westby has gone 3-0 against Kickapoo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Westby Norsemen will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Kickapoo Panthers at 10:00 a.m. Westby has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight losses, while Kickapoo will come in with five straight wins.

Last Friday, Westby took a blow against Prairie du Chien, falling 68-28. While losing is never fun, the Norsemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Blackhawks are ranked 33rd).

Meanwhile, Kickapoo took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-24 victory over Ithaca. That 38 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Kickapoo pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Westby, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Westby was able to grind out a solid victory over Kickapoo when the teams last played back in January of 2023, winning 38-30. Does Westby have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kickapoo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
