Basketball Recap: Tartan Piles Up the Points Against Coon Rapids

Tartan put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Coon Rapids Cardinals, posting a 75-47 win. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Cardinals are ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tartan pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Coon Rapids, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
