Millry has gone 7-2 against Cottage Hill Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Millry Wildcats will look to defend their home field against the Cottage Hill Christian Academy Warriors at 4:00 p.m.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Millry fell just short of St. Luke's Episcopal by a score of 4-3. The loss was Millry's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Cottage Hill Christian Academy got themselves on the board against McIntosh on Tuesday, but McIntosh never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 24-0 margin over the Demons. The game marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season so far.

Cooper Montgomery made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only a hit over four innings pitched. Montgomery was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two).

In other batting news, Caleb Metzner and Kyle Arguello did most of the damage at the plate: Metzner scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5, while Arguello got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. What's more, Arguello posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Max Hipp was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Cottage Hill Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .696. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Millry's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Millry took their victory against Cottage Hill Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1. Will Millry repeat their success, or does Cottage Hill Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
