Volleyball Recap: Middle Creek Starts off Right with Win over Willow Spring

Middle Creek took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They blew past the Willow Spring Storm 3-0. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Middle Creek took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-8, 25-12.

Leading Middle Creek to victory were Cameron Gerber and Eva Koehler. Gerber had 11 digs and two assists, while Koehler had four aces. Those four aces gave Koehler a new career-high.

Middle Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against J.H. Rose on the 12th. As for Willow Spring, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Athens Drive on the 13th.
