Basketball Recap: Arkadelphia Comes Up Short

Arkadelphia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt an 86-54 loss at the hands of the Nashville Scrappers. If the Badgers were looking for revenge after losing 88-56 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Arkadelphia's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Nashville, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

Arkadelphia and Nashville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. Arkadelphia will square off against Hope at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 210 places (40 vs. 250). Similarly, Nashville (ranked 19th) will meet Camden Fairview (ranked 62nd) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
