Volleyball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Louisville Leopards

Roosevelt has gone a perfect 3-0 against Louisville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rough Riders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Leopards at 7:00 a.m. Roosevelt will be strutting in after a victory while Louisville will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Roosevelt got the win against Howland by a conclusive 3-0.

While Roosevelt might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Howland scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 28-22.

Meanwhile, Louisville came up short against Firestone on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Louisville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Roosevelt, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Roosevelt was able to grind out a solid win over Louisville when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Rough Riders repeat their success, or do the Leopards have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
