Softball Game Preview: Union County Braves vs. Owensboro Red Devils

The Union County Braves will face off against the Owensboro Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Union County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Union County came up short against Madisonville-North Hopkins and fell 7-3.

Jaylen Tackett was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Bryleigh Walsh also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, Owensboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Daviess County, falling 10-0.

Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Owensboro, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.
