Baseball Recap: Lacassine Cardinals vs. Church Point Bears

On Friday, the Lacassine Cardinals were able to grind out a solid victory over the Church Point Bears, taking the game 7-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for Lacassine.

Kane Broussard made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Broussard was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Layne Baguex was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Cobee Pappillion was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
