Football Recap: Mexico's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Birdlebough last Friday, Mexico came back down to earth. The Tigers took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Jefferson Spartans on Friday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mexico fell to 2-1. As for South Jefferson, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mexico will welcome Sherburne-Earlville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Jefferson, they will square off against Homer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
