Northwest extends road losing streak to three

Recap: Northwest Texans vs. Saginaw Rough Riders
The Northwest Texans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight loss. They fell 52-44 to Saginaw. That's two games in a row now that Northwest has lost by exactly eight points.
Among those leading the charge was Tatum Stone, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Saginaw's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaniah Franklin, who scored six points along with three steals.
Northwest's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-13. As for Saginaw, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-9.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Aledo the next time they take the court. Northwest will host Aledo at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Saginaw will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
