It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chaminade-Madonna can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Monsignor Pace Spartans on Tuesday. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Chaminade-Madonna started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-15, 25-22, 25-10.

Despite the defeat, Chaminade-Madonna had strong showings from Colin Hennessy, who had 12 digs, and Noah Limo, who had six kills.

Monsignor Pace found their leader in sophomore Lucas Neptune, who had 42 digs and three assists. With that strong performance, Neptune is now averaging an impressive 11.9 digs per game.

Chaminade-Madonna's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Monsignor Pace, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.
