Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Clements Comes Up Short

Fort Bend Clements was the 3-1 winner over Fort Bend Hightower when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rangers fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Fort Bend Clements sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 26-24, 13-25, 15-13.

Fort Bend Clements' defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Fort Bend Hightower, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fort Bend Clements will square off against rival Ridge Point at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fort Bend Hightower is set to take on their familiar foe Fort Bend Austin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
