Wendover skates past Jackpot with ease

The Wendover Wildcats had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 54-4 win over Jackpot on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Wendover, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Wendover found their leader in underclassman Millie Hicks, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadence Murphy, who scored 9 points.

Wendover's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Jackpot, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Wendover won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Eureka at 3:00 p.m. on December 1st. As for Jackpot, they will take on West Wendover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
