Basketball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

Anderson lost against Trenton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Anderson Titans fell 60-49 to the Trenton Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 503rd, while the Trojans are ranked 205th).

Anderson has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Trenton, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anderson will face off against Woodhaven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trenton, they will take on Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
