Baseball Game Preview: Glenelg Country Dragons vs. Indian Creek Eagles

The Glenelg Country Dragons will head out to take on the Indian Creek Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenelg Country's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matchups, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Glenelg Country is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since April 19, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Our Lady of Mount Carmel, sneaking past 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Glenelg Country saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Stallone, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Indian Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 18-7 to Boys Latin.

Indian Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Glenelg Country, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 6-13.

Glenelg Country couldn't quite finish off Indian Creek in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 and fell 3-1. Can the Dragons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
