Soccer Game Preview: Webster Thomas vs. Webster Schroeder

Webster Thomas hasn't had much luck against Webster Schroeder recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Titans will host the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

While Webster Thomas' win against Brighton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bruins 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Webster Thomas sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Webster Schroeder hasn't lost a match since September 13th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Victor a 1-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Webster Schroeder's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Victor are ranked 210th).

Webster Schroeder's win bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for Webster Thomas, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.
