Gibbs is a perfect 5-0 against Boca Ciega since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Gladiators will take on the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Gibbs' offense hasn't had much luck over their past four games, but Tuesday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

If Gibbs beats Boca Ciega with seven points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Gladiators never let Clearwater get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory last Monday. Given the Gladiators' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 357th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Boca Ciega walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 22-6 win over the Eagles on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Boca Ciega's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Gibbs, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Gibbs strolled past Boca Ciega when the teams last played back in February by a score of 31-13. Will the Gladiators repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
